Nestle yourself in a comfortable corner with a book in this large private studio-type bedroom with lots of light, located at near street level. Anacahuite rental room is atttached to the main house at El Tamarindo but has independent access from the large and airy front terrace.
The room has air conditioning, overhead fan, mini fridge, table and chairs, small daybed, bookshelves, two individual beds that can be joined to make one king, and an en-suite bathroom. A coffee maker is available if desired.
Anacahuite is ideal for 1-2 people, and the small daybed can accommodate a third person. Weekly basic housekeeping and change of linens and towels is included.
The room opens onto a small balcony that affords views over the tropical vegetation of La Ropa Beach neighborhood. Part of the family’s permanent library is stored on the bookshelves of this studio.
Guests may make use of the large front terrace right outside the room and are granted shared* access of the nearby El Tamarindo main kitchen. The terrace has rocking chairs, outdoor dining space, and a small dipping pool. There is free wifi available in the room and on the terrace.
*Anacahuite guests share kitchen use with guests in one other room and any family members who may be in residence at the time.

El Tamarindo at Casa Calamondin is a family complex convenient to La Ropa Beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. It consists of four separate buildings that are built up from street level.
The main house near the street entrance holds two attached, private rental bedrooms and the general living/dining space and main kitchen. It features a wide covered terrace with a small dipping pool, rocking chairs, and outdoor dining area.
A second building is on a higher level behind and above the main building. In it are a lower office area and an upper one-bedroom apartment. A view terrace is located on the rooftop of this intermediary building.
Two additional two-story buildings are on the upper level behind and above the main house and intermediary building. In each two-story module is a one-bedroom apartment on the lower floor and two independent and private rooms on each of the upper floors accessed from open-air landings.
The buildings and units behind and above the main house are accessible via an exterior path and multiple stairways that lead up through the tropical vegetation of the garden.
