What does Bejuco mean?
In Spanish, Bejuco is commonly used to denote any reed-like or liana-type twining and vining tropical plant with long, flexible stalks that are used in basketry or to make cording, mats, lampshades, etc. The climbing vines tend to make their way upward, twining around taller and more sturdy vegetation in search of light.
