About La Ropa Beach area

La Ropa Beach is the most beautiful and longest beach within the protected confines of Zihuatanejo Bay, Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Mexico. It is lined with coconut palms and there are a number of excellent restaurants both along the beach and the main La Ropa road. The area lies only some 2 kilometers from Zihuatanejo Centro and is serviced by public transportation throughout the daylight hours. Taxis are plentiful.
Some of the excellent restaurants and food services in the La Ropa neighborhood include La Trattoria da Gianni, Umma, Paty’s Marimar, Triton, El Cajon, La Perla, El Murmullo, Las Adelitas, Jungle Pizza, Restaurant El Vigia, Rossy’s, La Gaviota, El Viejo at Capricho del Rey. Heading toward town, you can find Espuma, Il Mare, Puerta del Sol, and all the excellent eateries in the Madera Beach and Centro areas, all within reasonable walking or public transportation distance.
